We're on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Employment Attorney to join our progressive legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional who is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of employment matters, including but not limited to whistleblower claims, mediation, negotiation, dispute resolution, discrimination, and labor issues. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal counsel and guidance on the design and implementation of employment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
2. Manage and resolve complex employment-related disputes through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration.
3. Represent the organization in employment litigation, including whistleblower claims, discrimination, and labor disputes.
4. Partner with Human Resources and other business leaders to mitigate potential legal risks and develop proactive compliance initiatives.
5. Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its employees, and provide practical advice on the potential impact.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Employment Attorney or related role, preferably within a corporate environment.
4. Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including whistleblower laws, discrimination laws, and labor laws.
5. Proven experience in dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation.
6. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise on risk implications.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex legal principles clearly and effectively.
8. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution.
