Job Details
We are seeking a highly qualified attorney to join our Corporate Department as Counsel, focusing on employment and labor matters.
Ideal candidates will have significant experience—generally a minimum of eight years—in employment law.
Relevant experience includes:
Advising corporate clients on a wide range of employment-related compliance issues, including wage and hour laws, worker classification, equal opportunity requirements, immigration, labor relations, and employment policies and handbooks.
Counseling clients on reductions-in-force and related considerations, such as separation agreements and WARN Act compliance.
Drafting and negotiating employment agreements and restrictive covenant agreements.
Performing due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on employment matters and related representations and warranties in transactional documents (preferred but not required).
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent academic credentials, outstanding writing and organizational skills, and a strong client service orientation. A collaborative, team-focused mindset is essential. Candidates must be admitted to the bar in good standing or be eligible to waive in to the jurisdiction where they will be practicing.
