Job Details

  • Defend employers in employment law cases, including wage & hour, PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims
  • Handle cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Provide legal advice to employers regarding compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws
  • Draft policies, handbooks, and agreements to support employer compliance and mitigate litigation risks
  • Support business clients and collaborate with firm attorneys on cross-practice matters affecting employers

Qualifications:

  • J.D. and licensed to practice in California
  • Minimum 4 years of defense-side employment law experience
  • Strong background handling PAGA and wage & hour claims
  • Experience advising and defending employers in discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and provide practical compliance guidance
