Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Represent clients in employment related litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research to prepare legal documents as needed.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on workplace policies, compliance with labor laws and risk management strategies.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations, arbitrations and trials as needed.
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel as necessary.
- Develop and defend legal strategies to resolve cases with positive results.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail,
- Stay up to date with changing and evolving employment laws and regulations to provide informed and accurate legal advice.
Qualifications
- JD Degree and membership in good standing with the California Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in litigation and employment law.
- Strong litigation and advocacy skills with excellent oral and written communication.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
