Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions, court hearings, and trial proceedings.
2. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and submit them to the court.
3. Prepare and answer written discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
4. Attend depositions
5. Prepare for and participate in arbitrations and trials, presenting evidence and arguments in a persuasive and effective manner.
6. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
7. Provide expert legal advice and support to clients
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of employment defense litigation experience
4. Proven experience in preparing and answering written discovery, attending depositions, and preparing for and participating in arbitrations/trials.
5. Excellent litigation and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve complex legal disputes in a favorable manner.
