Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Independently manage a caseload of diverse employment law matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Engage in settlement negotiations.
- Lead deposition preparation, prepare for and take depositions.
- Oversee and adhere to litigation deadlines.
- Prepare for and attend mediations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation
- Employment law experience strongly preferred
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in legal practice
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are a huge plus
