We are seeking a skilled and passionate Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join our growing team. While employment litigation experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong foundation in other areas of litigation who can demonstrate transferable skills. Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Manage a caseload of employment law matters from intake through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft complaints, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Advise clients on their legal rights, risks, and potential outcomes
- Participate in strategy development with partners and team members
- Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings
- Second or third-chair jury trial and arbitrations
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California Bar
- 1-3 years of employment law litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side
- Proficiency in managing wrongful termination and sexual harassment litigation
- Strong knowledge of California 91604, Los Angeles, California, United States employment laws and civil procedure both on a state and federal level
- Commitment to representing employees with integrity and empathy
