Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Employment Litigation Senior Associate to join our team. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to a high-performing team focused on providing top-tier legal services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation and defense, with a proven track record of managing complex cases and delivering favorable outcomes for clients. The position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing and overseeing complex employment litigation cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes.
2. Providing robust defense services for our clients, developing strategic case strategies, and effectively representing clients in court.
3. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case strategies and advise clients.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
5. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest level of service is provided to our clients.
6. Keeping abreast of current legislation, case law, and industry trends in employment law to provide the most accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
7. Participating in business development and marketing efforts to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. License to practice law in the state.
3. 5 years of experience in employment litigation with a strong focus on defense.
4. Exceptional knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
5. Proven track record of successfully litigating employment cases and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal arguments.
8. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to resolve disputes favorably.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
