We’re looking for an Energy Management Systems (EMS) Technician to join our growing team and play a key role in the reliability of our data center operations. In this role, you’ll support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS) and devices that keep our multi-megawatt facilities running smoothly.

You’ll collaborate across Data Center Operations, Networking, Environmental Controls, Construction, and other teams to ensure seamless deployments and continuous uptime. From auditing electrical engineering drawings to troubleshooting power monitoring devices, you’ll be hands-on with the systems that drive operational excellence.

Job Details

** Remote is an option after your first 90 days in our office in Las Vegas **

What you’ll do:
  • Install, configure, and maintain EPMS devices and systems (PME, LDC, DCE).
  • Perform daily system checks, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure peak performance.
  • Audit electrical drawings and implement new tools, training materials, and operating procedures.
  • Support expansions and site deployments, including travel as needed.
  • Assist with EPMS/BMS integration and provide remote support to external sites.
  • Manage special projects from planning through execution.

What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting electrical and/or communications equipment.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications in power systems, networking, or Schneider Electric products preferred
  • Proficiency in power monitoring systems, especially Schneider Electric EcoStruxure PME software.
  • Previous experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining power monitoring systems in data centers is preferred
  • Knowledge of data center electrical systems (transformers, UPS, switchgear, PDUs, ATS/STS, cooling, fire suppression)
  • Project Management experience in managing data center projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Understanding of Modbus, SNMP, and other communication protocols
  • Demonstrates strong verbal/written communication abilities for effective interaction with teams, vendors, and contractors when needed
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights (highly motivated individuals)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and (the never-ending) changing project requirements
