Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A license to practice law in NY State.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in energy, utility or regulatory law.
4. Proven experience in representing clients in regulatory proceedings and litigation.
5. Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
6. A deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, and policy issues impacting the energy and utility industries.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical, solutions-oriented advice.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
9. Ability to handle a high volume of work and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
11. Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on the latest developments in energy and utility law and regulation.
