We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to join our innovative technology company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of residential solar energy systems and ensuring that all electrical engineering projects are completed to the highest standard. Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and leading a team of engineers in the design and implementation of residential solar energy systems.
2. Overseeing all aspects of electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
3. Ensuring all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
4. Collaborating with other department leads to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish project approaches.
5. Providing technical guidance and coaching to engineers and other team members.
6. Conducting research and case studies on leading-edge technology developments and making determinations on the probability of implementation.
7. Ensuring team members use best practices and comply with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
8. Evaluating and managing the resources and processes required to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the technology industry.
3. Proven experience in the solar energy sector and residential electrical engineering.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor a team.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, best practices, and safety regulations.
6. Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and engineering.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) certification would be considered an asset.
