Requirements
Nice to Haves
- Lead and manage a team of design, process, and manufacturing engineers
- Oversee product development, testing, and validation to meet industry standards and customer specifications
- Drive engineering support for production, sales, and quality teams
- Collaborate directly with customers to design custom fastening solutions
- Ensure adherence to ISO, SAE, DIN, ASME, and other industry standards
- Support APQP, PPAP, and automotive product launch requirements
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for engineering initiatives
- Mentor and develop engineering staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of fastener design, cold heading, thread rolling, and heat treating processes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, SAE, DIN, or ASME standards
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of GD&T, PLM, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and engineering teams
Nice to Haves
- Experience with fasteners in automotive or aerospace applications
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured improvement methodologies
- Prior experience with OEM technical support, audits, or PPAP submissions
