Engineering Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Engineering Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This position offers an incredible opportunity to lead and manage a team of professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The Engineering Manager will oversee the design and implementation of various construction projects, ensuring that all engineering works are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, precast and prestressed concrete production, and engineering management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the engineering department and manage a team of professional engineers, ensuring that they work efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines.
2. Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of work.
3. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to design and implement various construction projects.
4. Review and approve project designs and ensure that they meet all necessary specifications and regulations.
5. Manage the production of precast and prestressed concrete, ensuring that all materials meet quality standards.
6. Lead the planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
7. Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
8. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all engineering works are carried out according to plan and within the set budget.
9. Provide technical advice to team members and resolve any engineering issues that may arise.
10. Keep up-to-date with the latest engineering trends and techniques to ensure that the company stays competitive in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering management role within the construction industry.
4. Proven experience in precast and prestressed concrete production.
5. Extensive knowledge of engineering design and management principles.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in using engineering software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
11. Strong understanding of industry laws and regulations related to construction and engineering.
12. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in challenging situations.
