We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and motivated Engineering Specialist to join our leading Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes and equipment. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, contribute to our continuous improvement efforts, and help shape the future of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
The Engineering Specialist will be responsible for the following:

1. Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment in line with our strategic objectives and operational needs.
2. Implementing and managing robotics systems to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in our manufacturing operations.
3. Developing and maintaining machine designs that meet our performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
4. Utilizing PLCs to automate and control manufacturing processes and equipment.
5. Leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex manufacturing problems and implement effective solutions.
7. Providing technical support and training to our manufacturing personnel to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of our equipment and processes.
8. Staying abreast of the latest manufacturing technologies, trends, and best practices, and applying this knowledge to our operations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Engineering Specialist position will possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a strong focus on process improvement, robotics, machine design, and PLCs.
3. Proven experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing problems and implement effective solutions.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of manufacturing operations.
