Job Details
The Technical Enterprise Architect is a recognized subject matter expert in Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning. They leverage their expertise to integrate strategic enterprise architecture considerations, ensuring value delivery and organizational readiness across people, processes, and technology. By applying business management practices and industry standards, they provide specialized guidance on IT solutions to complex information processing challenges.

- Lead Agile Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Develop and maintain IT modernization plans.
- Analyze and document business architectures.
- Create transition plans from current to target IT architecture.
- Identify challenges, impacts, and risks associated with IT changes and determine mitigations.
- Establish, refine, and enforce governance for architectural alignment.
- Align technology implementations with the enterprise mission.
- Develop enterprise architecture artifacts, including current and target state business process and data models.
- Evaluate business needs against technology trends.
- Develop strategies to align organizations with mission goals.
- Facilitate strategic discussions with senior IT leaders and communicate with both IT and non-IT communities.
- Leverage emerging technologies and industry practices to enhance solution delivery for consumers and developers.
- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, with a focus on applying EA concepts to create effective transition plans and investments.
- Experience in conducting cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and analysis of alternatives (AoA).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and ins-pi.
Required Experience:
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF).
- Familiarity with the COBIT framework.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, managers, and technical teams.
- Experience supporting Federal Government initiatives.
- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, particularly in applying EA concepts to develop effective transition plans and investments.
- Proven ability to work with senior leadership to align technology investments with strategic objectives.
- Experienced in applying engineering methodologies and principles to lead major enterprise-wide business process evaluations and modernization projects.
