Environmental Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of environmental legal issues, advising clients on compliance with environmental regulations, and representing clients in litigation related to environmental law. Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a broad range of environmental matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in litigation and enforcement actions related to environmental law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to environmental matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex environmental legal issues.
• Develop and implement strategies for managing environmental legal risks.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, professionals, and clients on environmental legal matters.
• Keep abreast of developments in environmental law and policy, and advise clients on potential impacts.
• Participate in professional development and training activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in environmental law.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Barred in CA
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on environmental law.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Strong litigation skills, with experience in environmental litigation.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and to develop effective legal strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, other attorneys, and professionals.
• Commitment to ethical legal practice and to the protection of the environment.
