Job Details

As a Permanent EPB Senior Account Manager, you will be a part of a dynamic team responsible for managing our clients' insurance and employee benefits portfolio. You will play a crucial role in servicing and retaining our existing clients while also pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance and employee benefits, exceptional relationship management skills, and a deep commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and service a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance and employee benefits needs are met.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all insurance and benefits-related inquiries.
3. Regularly review clients' insurance and benefits plans to identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement customized insurance and benefits solutions for clients.
5. Negotiate with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to secure the most competitive rates and terms.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure our offerings remain competitive and compliant.
7. Participate in business development initiatives, including identifying potential clients and participating in sales presentations.
8. Provide regular updates and reports to management on account status, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance and employee benefits, with a focus on account management.
3. Strong knowledge of insurance products, employee benefits, and related regulations.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a client portfolio.
5. Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best terms for clients.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify client needs and design customized solutions.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
10. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Insurance Professional, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) are an asset.
