We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, using the latest technology and engineering solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. They will also play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of power systems in the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery related to construction projects.
2. Apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
3. Conduct research to produce design specifications and requirements for the development of new electrical systems or modification of existing ones.
4. Develop electrical products and systems to meet customer specifications.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design and implement electrical systems for construction projects.
6. Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
7. Design and implement power systems for oil and gas operations, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations.
8. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to other team members.
9. Monitor and improve energy efficiency and sustainability in all projects.
10. Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical systems and power systems.
4. Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) processes.
5. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design in the oil and gas sector.
6. Proficiency in using design and calculation software.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
9. Knowledge of industry safety protocols and regulations.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
