ERP Specialist

Based in Long Island, NY, we are a mid-sized & fast growing Wholesale Supply business which provides Electrical Contractors and Construction companies with products/components big and small for electrical, lighting, and renewable energy construction projects. We support clients with their critical needs in the North East, quickly delivering customized product packages for their most challenging and complex builds, right to their project site.

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Full-Time ERP Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining, configuring, and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a focus on optimizing business processes in inventory management, finance, and supply chain. What You Will Do:

• ERP System Optimization: Provide expert technical support to enhance and integrate ERP systems, driving efficiency and performance.
• User Assistance: Offer timely assistance and solutions for ERP-related issues, ensuring smooth operations for end users.
• Process Improvement: Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective recommendations.
• Workflow Integration: Collaborate with users to deploy and refine core business processes within ERP systems and business intelligence platforms.
• Performance Enhancement: Assist in modifying procedures and system integrations to boost ERP system performance.
• Technical Specifications: Review and create detailed specifications for software development, implementation, and integration.
• KPI Dashboards: Develop dashboards to monitor ERP performance, user adoption, and conduct benefit-cost analyses for management review.
• Financial Acumen: Gain a deep understanding of the organization’s financial transactions, reporting, and accounting structure.
• System Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on system performance.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in software design, development, data management, and systems integration.
• ERP Expertise: 2+ years providing technical support for ERP systems, including Business Intelligence platforms, and ideally EPICOR products.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP deployment, configuration, and support, with a working knowledge of MS Windows Server, MS Office Suite, Office 365, and SQL databases.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think innovatively and address challenges effectively.
• Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP.
• Understanding of Information Systems management best practices.
• Change Management: Skills in managing change effectively.
