Job Details
- Handle estate, trust, and fiduciary litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
- Manage depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations
- Conduct legal research on estate and commercial litigation issues
- Work with partners and senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy
- Advise clients on disputes involving trusts, wills, fiduciary obligations, and related business entities
Qualifications:
- J.D. and licensed to practice in New York
- Minimum 3+years of litigation experience, with a focus on Trusts & Estates Litigation
- General knowledge of estate planning and administration issues strongly preferred
- Experience with business entities is a plus
- Strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills
