We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-qualified Estate Planning and Probate Associate to join our reputable legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in probate, wills, trusts, and estate planning, and will be passionate about providing top-notch legal services to our diverse clientele. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Estate Planning and Probate Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and managing various estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
2. Advising and consulting with clients on matters related to estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
3. Representing clients in probate and trust litigation matters.
4. Assisting in the administration of estates and trusts, including the preparation of estate tax returns.
5. Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on changes in estate planning and probate law.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure excellent client service.
7. Participating in business development activities to expand the firm's estate planning and probate practice.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Estate Planning and Probate Associate position should have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning and probate law.
4. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
5. Strong knowledge of probate, wills, trusts, and estate laws and regulations.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. A strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. A commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients.
10. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
11. Knowledge of Lacerte tax software a plus.
12. Must be comfortable with tax related issues used in inheritance tax planning.
