Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in estate planning, probate, trusts, and wills, with a passion for providing exceptional legal advice and service to our clients. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice on estate planning, trusts, and probate matters to clients, ensuring their interests and assets are protected.
2. Draft, review, and amend a variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
3. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and manage all aspects of the probate process, from filing petitions to distributing assets.
4. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service.
5. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to stay updated on the latest laws and regulations related to estate planning and probate.
6. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a coordinated approach to client service.
7. Provide legal guidance on complex estate planning strategies, including tax planning and asset protection.
8. Facilitate estate planning seminars and workshops for clients and potential clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Estate Planning and Probate Attorney.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in estate planning, probate, trusts, and wills.
5. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
6. Proven track record of providing top-notch client service.
7. Ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
11. Certified in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization (preferred).
