Job Details

We are looking to hire an accomplished estate planning attorney with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Your Role
Legal Advice: Provide counsel to clients on all aspects of estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents;
Trust and Estate Administration: Assist clients throughout all stages of the planning process and throughout probate proceedings. Provide fiduciary representation and management of complex trust structures;
Collaboration: Partner with client financial and tax advisors to create comprehensive estate plans that achieve the client’s personal, financial, and tax goals;
Legal Representation: Represent clients throughout their probate court proceedings and other related legal matters;
Compliance: Ensure clients adhere to all applicable estate and gift tax laws/regulations and assist clients with tax planning strategies; and
Relationship Management: Manage client relationships for complex estate planning and trust administration matters.

Your Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Eight to ten years of relevant estate planning experience
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of trust and estate administration and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
Licensed: Be currently licensed or be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the state of Nebraska
Client-Centric: Targeted focus on client service and responsiveness
Productive: Produce high-quality, efficient work product, with attention to detail and accuracy
Articulate: Communicate complex concepts concisely and effectively
Flexible: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Autonomy: Take ownership of independent work and can handle appropriate cases with minimal oversight
Driven: Show initiative and seek responsibility
