We are seeking an experienced and motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing legal documents related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. This role requires a deep understanding of estate planning, wealth management, and legal procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, wealth counsel, and abacus, or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
2. Provide comprehensive counsel to clients regarding estate planning, asset protection, and wealth management.
3. Administer trusts and manage probate proceedings, including the preparation of estate tax returns.
4. Negotiate and resolve estate and trust disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Advise clients on the potential tax implications of their estate plans and propose strategies to minimize potential tax liability.
6. Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to implement effective estate planning strategies.
7. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to estate planning and wealth management.
8. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advisement.
9. Provide exceptional client service by maintaining regular communication, providing updates, and addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
10. Participate in business development efforts, including networking events and client seminars.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 3-5 years of experience in estate planning and wealth management.
3. Proficient in administration, wealth counsel, and abacus or equivalent.
4. Demonstrated ability to draft complex wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
5. Strong knowledge of federal and state estate and gift tax laws.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in an understandable manner.
8. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
10. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
11. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
12. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
