Junior Trusts & Estates Paralegal — Substantive Estate Planning Work
A bit about us:
A long-standing, well-regarded Baltimore law firm with a small, senior trusts & estates team that handles sophisticated estate planning and administration work for high-net-worth individuals and families. This isn't a high-volume litigation shop — it's a tight group where careful, precise work matters more than throughput.
Why join us?
Why Join Us:
- Work directly with three partners and one associate on substantive estate planning matters — not buried reviewing thousands of pages of discovery
- Downtown Baltimore office, walkable to courts and counsel you'll work alongside regularly
- A firm that moves fast on hiring decisions — when they find the right fit, they don't drag out the process
- Genuine day-to-day flexibility around weather, family, and city disruptions, even though the role is in-office
- Salary $65,000–$75,000, commensurate with experience
Job Details
Job Details:
You'll support a trusts & estates practice handling estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related fiduciary matters. The work is detail-driven — drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, assisting with estate and trust administration, probate filings, and fiduciary accountings. This is not a document-review-volume role; it rewards careful, careful reader attention to a smaller set of complex documents.
Must-haves: prior paralegal experience in trusts & estates (junior level — some hands-on exposure to estate planning or administration required, not entry-level with zero T&E exposure); strong attention to detail and writing precision; comfortable working in-office five days a week in downtown Baltimore; no remote/hybrid candidates.
Comp/location/work-mode: $65,000–$75,000; downtown Baltimore; full-time, in-office.
