With offices in both Birmingham and Nashville, this firm has built a strong reputation over the past 30+ years by consistently delivering on complex projects across the region—with a special focus on medical centers, outpatient facilities, and mission-critical spaces.

What You’ll Get
- 5+ years of commercial estimating experience; healthcare or hospital project experience preferred
- Experience with hard bid processes and familiarity with public bidding requirements
- Strong knowledge of local subcontractor markets in Alabama and/or Tennessee
- Proven ability to manage complex estimates for projects $20M and above
- Working knowledge of estimating software, takeoff platforms, and cost tracking tools

Job Details
- Lead quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for large healthcare and commercial projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure full scope coverage
- Manage hard-bid proposals and preconstruction deliverables for public and private clients
- Interface with project managers, clients, and design teams to clarify scope and pricing assumptions
- Support procurement, bid strategy, value engineering, and cost tracking
- Maintain relationships with local subcontractors across Alabama and Tennessee
