Job Details
As an Estimator, you'll be a vital part of our pre-construction team—analyzing project details, creating accurate cost breakdowns, and partnering closely with both internal stakeholders and clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys client interaction, and has a solid grasp of commercial estimating within the coatings or construction space.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate scope of work, site conditions, and client specifications to develop thorough estimates
Use industry-standard tools to produce detailed proposals, factoring in labor, materials, and equipment
Collaborate with business development and operations teams to ensure alignment across all phases of a project
Present estimates to clients, responding to questions and providing clarification as needed
Maintain client relationships with regular follow-ups and clear communication
Enter and manage sales activity and pipeline data using CRM software
Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and historical job data to improve bid accuracy and competitiveness
Qualifications
Strong team orientation with a humble, driven, and emotionally intelligent approach
Experience in estimating or project management within commercial construction or related industries
Technical knowledge of painting systems and application methods is highly preferred
Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal
Proficiency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office suite
