Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with Mechanical and HVAC projects, including design-build services, installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical and HVAC projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Monitor and update project budgets, ensuring alignment with initial estimates.
Provide support during project bidding and negotiation processes.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating mechanical projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including design-build services, installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
