Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Manage HVAC projects from preconstruction through turnover
+ Develop accurate cost estimates and detailed proposals for new construction, retrofits, and design-build work
+ Perform quantity takeoffs and build project scopes based on drawings and specifications
+ Lead client communications, vendor coordination, and subcontractor selection
+ Track project schedules, budgets, materials, and labor throughout the job cycle
+ Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
+ Ensure code compliance, QA/QC, and safe jobsite operations
+ Provide mentorship and support to junior team members and field staff


Qualifications

+ 5 or more years of experience in HVAC project management and mechanical estimating
+ Strong background in commercial mechanical systems, design-build, and retrofit projects
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical specs, and project documentation
+ Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., FastPIPE, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar)
+ Skilled in job costing, schedule tracking, and vendor/sub coordination
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field preferred
+ OSHA 30 or PMP certification is a plus
