Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to determine project scope
+ Develop detailed cost estimates and create estimate summaries
+ Monitor bid calendars and complete proposals on schedule
+ Perform and review material takeoffs for accuracy and completeness
+ Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors; conduct scope reviews
+ Prepare proposals, bid forms, and cost breakdowns
+ Support development of conceptual budgets from preliminary designs
+ Collaborate with sales teams on procurement strategies
+ Participate in client and engineer project scope review meetings
+ Transition awarded projects by handing off estimates to project management teams

Qualifications -

+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience
+ Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software (Quickpen or similar) preferred
+ Strong analytical and mathematical skills with solid understanding of engineering and construction principles
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
