We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator to join our thriving team. This exciting role involves engaging in various construction projects, where you will play a pivotal role in determining the costs, resources, and timeline required to complete each project successfully. You will be working closely with our project management team, architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring that all estimates are accurate and competitive. This role is perfect for someone who has a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
2. Prepare detailed cost estimates by breaking down the items of work necessary to implement the project.
3. Use software like Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore for estimating and cost analysis.
4. Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
5. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
6. Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
7. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
8. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
9. Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
10. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, or equivalent software.
3. Extensive experience in cost analysis, estimating, blueprint reading, and project estimation.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical estimating.
5. Excellent mathematical skills and analytical thinking.
6. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
7. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
8. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
9. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certification as a Professional Estimator or similar is beneficial but not required.
