We are seeking a talented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables for construction projects, and will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to determine the potential cost of a project. This is a pivotal role that requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional numerical skills, and an analytical mindset. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and completion of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on time.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and completion of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and other related costs.
- Conduct thorough risk analysis to ensure that potential project problems are anticipated and addressed.
- Analyze blueprints and other project documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Participate in project bidding, ensuring that all bids are accurate, competitive, and timely.
- Conduct site visits and job walks to understand the scope and requirements of the project.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate and manage contracts to align with project budgets and timelines.
- Monitor and adjust estimates and budgets as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience with special projects/tenant improvement jobs.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proven experience in project bidding, budgeting, cost analysis, and tenant improvement.
- Ability to conduct job walks and understand project requirements.
- Ability to walk a site with little to no plans and can run numbers from a job walk alone.
