We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Estimator to join our rapidly growing team in the construction industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for estimating construction costs, coordinating with various departments, and contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for all cost components.
2. Utilize your knowledge of plumbing and construction to develop accurate and competitive project bids.
3. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet the project specifications and scope.
4. Work closely with project managers and engineers to formulate the cost breakdown and align it with the project’s goals and objectives.
5. Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.
6. Participate in the presentation of project proposals, offering clear and detailed explanations for decisions made during the estimating process.
7. Track and manage project budget and perform cost forecasting and analysis.
8. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, market conditions, and construction technology to enhance the accuracy of cost estimates.
10. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on the cost status to the management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on plumbing.
3. Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Certification as a Professional Estimator or similar would be an advantage.
10. A team player with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
