Job Details
The Software Engineer, EVC will assist in design and implement hardware and software solutions for EV Charging system. Candidate must be familiar with EV Charging infrastructure. He / She will use C/C++, Codesys to write and debug EVC Software. must be able to interface with Azure or AWS Cloud database. Must have knowledge of sensors/IoT connectivity, IoT platforms, data acquisition, data historians. Must be familiar with networking, cybersecurity, and operating systems. Candidate should have superior problem solving and communication skills to interface users/ technical / functional teams.

Essential Job Functions
- Software development and debugging.
- Help drive the technical design, ongoing configuration, development, testing, and maintenance of IOT applications (new deployments and enhancements)
- Serve as the subject matter expert
- Create support documentation (design documents, training materials, job aids, etc.)
- Provide technical training to support staff.
Education/License Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering,
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software project delivery in manufacturing environments
- Prior experience working in operations related field, e.g., Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Healthcare
- Proficiency in software QA practices and testing tools
- 2+ years of experience in developing IoT solutions
- 7+ years of experience delivering scalable and resilient services at large enterprise scale.
Working Conditions
- Standard office environment, standard office equipment.
- OSHA compliant manufacturing facilities.
- Customer Sites – Industrial manufacturing plants, Ports, Above & Underground Mines, Warehouses & logistics-center
- Up to 20% Travel to customer or sister-company sites/facilities including overseas
