We are looking for a Vice President to open our Raleigh office with experience in the local market and local connections. Experience should be on projects valued from $100K - $50 million in commercial new construction and renovations. The ideal candidate will be well rounded with both sales and operations experience. This office will be part of a billion dollar top ENR organization.

Responsibilities:

As the Vice President, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to the organization, driving growth and profitability.
2. Overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the company's operations and programs.
3. Spearheading business development initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
4. Developing and managing the company’s budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
5. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
6. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
7. Driving the development of new strategies and business opportunities.
8. Creating a positive and motivating work environment, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Vice President, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in business development, with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
4. Proficient in managing profit and loss statements, with a deep understanding of financial strategies and finance-related performance metrics.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
6. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
8. Proficiency in industry-specific software and technology.
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Knowledge of industry safety and regulatory standards.
