Job Details:

We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Draftsman to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, engineering, and technical design, with the ability to create both 2D and 3D drafts using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The Draftsman will play a key role in our manufacturing process, drafting scaled construction documents and contributing to mechanical design. With over 3 years of experience in a similar role, the candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate, detailed technical plans for our manufacturing processes using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to understand project requirements and translate them into technical plans.
• Draft scaled construction documents, carefully considering all relevant codes, specifications, and design requirements.
• Contribute to mechanical design, using your expertise to ensure all plans are feasible, efficient, and optimized for our manufacturing processes.
• Regularly review and update drafts, ensuring they remain accurate and up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use your problem-solving skills to identify potential issues in the plans and propose effective solutions.
• Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and company guidelines for quality and safety.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draftsman in the Manufacturing industry or a similar role.
• Proficient in fabrication, engineering, and technical design.
• Expertise in drafting 2D and 3D plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in drafting scaled construction documents and mechanical design.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues in plans and propose effective solutions.
