A leading plastics manufacturer in the Bogart, GA area is seeking Extrusion Operators / Technicians to join its production team. This hands-on role is critical in operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines according to established procedures
  • Perform setup and changeovers of extrusion lines, dies, and tooling
  • Inspect and measure extruded products for defects and dimensional accuracy
  • Document production data and quality checks accurately
  • Troubleshoot line issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE
  • Assist with material handling, packaging, and labeling as needed
  • Communicate clearly with team leads and supervisors

Qualifications

Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read a tape measure and basic shop math skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8–12 hours on a concrete floor
  • Willingness to work in a warm, industrial setting with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred:
  • Experience operating extrusion or similar manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Forklift experience or certification
  • Basic computer/data entry skills
