Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Leader to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role will direct the maintenance team responsible for equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. The position also plays a key role in security oversight, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining critical infrastructure systems.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Leader to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role will direct the maintenance team responsible for equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. The position also plays a key role in security oversight, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining critical infrastructure systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Equipment & Maintenance Operations
- Direct and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across CNC and precision manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Drive improvements in equipment uptime, performance, and reliability
- Manage the CMMS platform to monitor work orders, asset history, and maintenance data
- Partner with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and facility staff
- Establish clear performance goals and ensure accountability to safety and quality standards
- Provide technical and safety training to enhance team capability
- Develop and track departmental KPIs aligned with business objectives
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and succession planning for critical roles
Key Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline
- Certifications such as OSHA 30 (General Industry), NFPA 70E, Lean/TPM, or First Aid/CPR
- Skills & Experience:
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Proven success managing maintenance or facilities teams in a technical environment
- Experience with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and coordinate multiple initiatives
- Knowledge of safe work practices and ability to enforce safety procedures
