Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in the Aerospace Industry. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who has a solid background in facility management, specifically within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring that they meet safety and quality standards at all times. The role includes managing facility maintenance, space planning, renovations, construction projects, equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, and possess excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facilities, ensuring that they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement facility maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance and repair activities.
  • Coordinate space planning, renovations, and construction projects.
  • Manage facilities and equipment installation, repairs, and maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Plan and manage ground services.
  • Facilitate regular safety training and drills for all employees.
  • Respond to emergency situations or equipment failures promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of facility improvements and expansions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facility management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace sector with a composite background.
  • Proven experience in managing facility maintenance, space planning, renovations, and construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage facilities and equipment installation, repairs, and maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in using facility management software and systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
