Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Facilities Relations Specialist, your duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of our facilities and ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
2. Developing and implementing strategies for community outreach and public relations to foster positive relationships with local communities and government entities.
3. Managing the budget for facilities maintenance and upgrades, and ensuring all operations are cost-effective.
4. Addressing any issues or complaints related to the facilities promptly and professionally.
5. Representing the organization in local government meetings and forums to stay updated on any changes in regulations that may impact our facilities.
6. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure our facilities meet the needs of our employees and align with our organizational goals.
7. Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for facilities maintenance and upgrades.
8. Preparing and presenting reports on facilities operations and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Facilities Relations Specialist position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
3. Proven experience in community outreach and public relations.
4. Sound knowledge of local government operations and regulations.
5. Strong leadership and project management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
