We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment, including boilers, cooling systems, air conditioning units, and pneumatic systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with boilers, cooling systems, air conditioning units, and pneumatic systems.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within the facility.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs and maintenance of the facility as needed.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, facility maintenance, boilers, pneumatics, cooling, and air conditioning.
  • A relevant degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with various types of equipment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and use of test equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
