Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Representing clients in family law proceedings.
2. Conducting legal research to stay abreast of changes in family law and to support case preparation.
3. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
4. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve matters efficiently and amicably.
5. Providing sound legal advice to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
6. Collaborating with team members to strategize and prepare for court proceedings.
7. Maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
8. Participating in business development and networking activities to grow the firm's family law practice.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law.
3. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
4. Proven experience in negotiation, legal research, and legal writing.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
6. Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and integrity.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
8. High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
