We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of families navigating through complex legal situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, including divorce law, and will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, and providing counsel on a variety of family law matters.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family court proceedings or in negotiations, primarily in matters of divorce, child custody, alimony, and other related areas.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as motions, petitions, and agreements.
• Provide sound legal advice to clients on matters of family law, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to ascertain the facts and consider viable legal strategies.
• Negotiate settlements in a timely manner to resolve disputes effectively.
• Participate in mediation and dispute resolution processes to advocate for the best interests of the client.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, ensuring all actions comply with state laws and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in family law and participate in continued education opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular case updates and addressing their questions or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 2 years of experience in family law.
• Proven experience in divorce law, litigation, client counseling, mediation, legal documentation, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex issues and disputes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
