Job Details
The Associate is responsible for various legal services, including conducting legal research, preparing legal documents such as motions, pleadings, orders, judgments, and status updates, as well as overseeing and analyzing discovery. They have the authority to assign these tasks to Associate Attorneys and Paralegals, but it is their duty to ensure that the work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborating with the Managing Attorney and the Legal team, the Senior Associate participates in the development of legal strategies and provides advice to clients on their best legal interests. They act as the primary point of contact between the Firm and the client.
The Senior Associate represents clients in mediation, depositions, and court proceedings, including motions, trials, and various types of hearings held across California.
Additionally, they assist with marketing efforts such as identifying opportunities to gather feedback, both positive and negative, as well as testimonials and reviews. They engage in networking activities by attending functions, writing articles, supporting the firm's social media strategy, and maintaining an online presence on platforms like Avvo and LinkedIn. They may also participate in speaking engagements.
