We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team as a contractor This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of families, and advocating for the rights of individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives. As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for managing family law cases from beginning to end, providing legal advice to clients, and representing them in court. This role requires a thorough understanding of family law, including areas such as child custody, divorce, and alimony. The ideal candidate will have an active Georgia State Bar license and at least 3 years of experience practicing family law.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation to clients in family law cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, alimony, and other related matters.
  • Develop and implement family law strategies that achieve favorable results for clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to keep abreast of current developments in family law.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of family law cases.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Georgia State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
  • Proven track record of representing clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and alimony.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong legal research and analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong ethical and professional standards.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and advocacy for clients in family law cases.
