We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.
This role will require you to handle a wide range of family law matters, such as child custody, child support, property division, and more.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience practicing family law in North Carolina, a small book of business to bring with them, and a commitment to their clients and ethical practices.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience practicing family law in North Carolina, a small book of business to bring with them, and a commitment to their clients and ethical practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including but not limited to, child custody, child support, and property division.
- Provide sound legal advice to clients in complex and sensitive situations, ensuring their rights are protected, and their interests are represented.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to gather all necessary facts and evidence for each case.
- Maintain updated knowledge of laws, legal articles, and rulings related to family law.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with legal support staff and colleagues to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law.
- Active member of the North Carolina State Bar in good standing.
- Proven track record of successfully representing clients in family law matters.
- Proven trial, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
