Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage family law cases from initial consultation through resolution.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide clients with clear, practical legal advice while setting realistic expectations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Negotiate settlements in the best interest of clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to the firm’s reputation through professionalism and community engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
  • 2+ years of family law or related litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and organization.
  • Compassionate, client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
