Family Law Attorney

Our law firm is seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our close-knit team. We are in search of an individual who is committed to providing the highest quality legal services to our clients, with a particular focus on family law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, property division, and domestic violence cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, with a proven track record of successfully representing clients in court. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.

2. Manage cases from inception to conclusion, including conducting initial consultations, preparing legal documents, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.

3. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.

4. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

5. Engage in mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods to resolve family law disputes.

6. Maintain timely and accurate case management and client communication.

7. Participate in client counseling and legal consulting to provide clients with the best possible legal solutions.

8. Stay updated on current trends and changes in family law to provide the most accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney or equivalent.
4. Proven experience in immigration law is a plus.
5. Bilingual abilities are highly preferred.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. Strong litigation and courtroom skills.
8. Proficient in legal documentation and case management.
9. Experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods.
10. Excellent client counseling and legal consulting skills.
11. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
14. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
