We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is passionate about advocating for clients in various family law matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of family law cases from start to finish, including divorce, child custody, child support, property division, spousal support, adoption law, and alternative dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on a variety of family law matters, including child custody, divorce, child support, property division, and spousal support.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
  • Conduct thorough case research and analysis to develop legal strategies that serve the best interests of the clients.
  • Provide compassionate and effective client counseling during difficult family transitions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the best service to our clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in family law and participate in continuous legal education.
  • Use alternative dispute resolution techniques to reach amicable solutions for clients wherever possible.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law practice.
  • Proven track record of representing clients in family law matters, including court appearances.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of family law, including child custody, divorce law, child support, property division, spousal support, adoption law, and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client counseling.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to use alternative dispute resolution methods effectively.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Strong sense of professional ethics and dedication to advocate for clients in family law matters.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while also being a team player.
