This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, and alimony. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in domestic relations, matrimonial law, and divorce proceedings. Extensive experience in trial, discovery, motion practice, and litigation is essential. In addition, the candidate will also have a keen interest in client development, business development, and client acquisition.

Responsibilities

As a Family Law Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

1. Representing clients in all stages of family law matters, including negotiation, mediation, trial, and appeal.
2. Conducting discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and managing complex litigation cases.
3. Developing and implementing family law strategies that achieve favorable results for our clients.
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
5. Participating in business development initiatives, such as networking events and client seminars, to attract new clients and grow the practice.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest level of client service and legal representation.
7. Staying up-to-date with changes in family law and advising clients accordingly.
8. Providing sound legal advice and guidance to clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding during potentially stressful life events.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney, Divorce Attorney, or Matrimonial Attorney.
3. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience in trial, discovery, motion practice, and litigation.
5. Demonstrated success in client development, business development, and client acquisition.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act decisively.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
10. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
11. Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also able to work effectively as part of a team.
